Question on sleeping with GERD

Ok, I have a wedge that I sleep with but It just hurts my hips because I have to sleep on my side and this puts all this pressure on my hips. I've thought about putting cinder blocks under my bed, but isn't this like sleeping on a slide. I'm very short so maybe it won't matter much, LOL. Does anyone have any better suggestions??

Hi...alot of people have found that the wedge does not work....and elevating the bed does.

Until u try u will not know....a cinderblock may be too large.

U may want to try the lifts they sell for college students to lift the entire bed for added storage underneth.....just elevate the head and see how it goes.

My problem with a wedge is I slide down it until I no longer am on an angle...so if the bed is tilted it would be better.

Keep us posted
Good luck

Thank you so much Selma, I rushed right out and bought some 7in. lifts. Now to wait for someone to come home and help me put them on! LOL! *Cross Your Fingers* I hope this works!!
