Ur Dr should be able to rx it for u especially if they feel u may have a yeast infection....depending on how severe a infection u have it is usually one dose...( 1 pill) so it is strong stuff and has always worked well for me.

Where can I get Diflucan at?
See if u can get a dosage of DIFLUCAN which helps eliminate the yeast from taking antibiotics...and u may want to ask for it going forward each time u r rx'd an antibiotic.....and then do look into a probiotic to replace all teh good bacteria u need to process ur food : )
No worries...I pray u feel better soon

I haven't found the root cause yet.Im moving to Finland soon, and can't see a doctor until then. When I get reflux I can feel it burn my esophagus. So, I know I have Esophagitis to an extent. Then I can feel the pain in my back as well.I was told I should up my meds from 15mg to 30mg.I weigh 220lbs so maybe a little more mg will help me.
I was actually curious about a Candida cleanse.I noticed the other day I had very thick, almost rubbery looking mucus at the back of my throat.
I suffer from rhynitis but never saw this type of mucus before. When I searched its description it said it was "fungal".So now Im wondering if its possible this is my problem. The only other thing I can think of is the Hiatal hernia,or just a weak les muscle.
I seem to be fine for 2 or 3 days, healthy appetite etc..then have an attack, and can feel the burn in my esophagus.
I dont feel I have a hernia, but then one never knows.I never have chest pain or belching like the symptoms of a hernia.I think I should try to candida cleanse and see what happens..I was using antibiotics late last year and maybe thats what it is.Thanks for always helping me!!
I agree with where Jangela is going with her questions...I was going to ask about what ur root issue is...such as a hiatal hernia ect......
Yeast is a major problem for many of us,.. and a good indication is if u get a lot of UTI...or when placed on an antibiotic u get a yeast infection.....probiotics replace the good bacteria we need.
It is possible u need to be a bit more patient...but, u can have too little acid and it feels the same as too much....so, a GI dr is the best bet if u continue to feel poorly.
And yes, ur reflux can continue even while on meds...PPI's r slow to work....and u can have flares while on meds....so keep a journal of what u eat, drink and how u feel...stress , tired....busy...relaxed...whatever applies to see if u can find a trigger.
Good luck

Have you been checked for a hiatal hernia? How about candida overgrowth? (This is a yeast, not a bacteria). When your stomach can tolerate it, you can try drinking a yogurt drink called kefir. It has lots of probiotics that are beneficial for digestion. If you do have candida overgrowth, you may initially feel worse after drinking it, because it could cause the yeast to die off and make you feel nauseated. But read up on this condition and see if it sounds possible. Many people have this and suffer all sorts of ailments from it.
