well last few months have been terrible for me .... i have had a terrible case of acid reflux , most of the time during the whole day i'm burping like anything ..... sometimes even 15 to 30 burps a day ..... i feel bloated after eating a small meal , feel like vomiting after every meal ...... i feel a lot of acid formation just minutes after i finish a meal , feeling of heartburn , irregular bowel movements , headache ....... i also have upper back pain , imsomnia , fatigue feeling and have lost around 8 pounds of my weight ....
concerned i visited a gastroentrologist , and he performed an upper endoscopy , ultrasound for the whole abdomen , blood test , liver and kidney profile ..... all test reports came back normal with no ulcers , hernia or tumor detected in the stomach or esophagus ..... he advised me to take nexium 20 mg tablet for 2 weeks and come back after that ...... but still my acid problem ie burping all day has not ended even after taking 10 tablets , and got even worse .... burps now seem to come up with a big noise as well which makes me feel uncomfortable socially as well ......
my question for u is doctor that other than hernia , ulcer , tumor etc what is causing huge acid formation in my stomach after a small meal ??? why do i keep burping and bloating after every meal when everything in my stomach is absolutely fine ??? is there any other test i must go through other than the above mentioned to be 100 % sure .......
imp thing to mention is that my eating habits are quite good and healthy . i usally eat home made food .... very occasionally outside food i prefer after i started having this problem .....

Were gallbladder issues ruled out?  If not, I would request a HIDA scan to check the functioning of your gallbladder and an US of ONLY the Gallbladder.

yes dear member , i have full faith in my god to give me strength , and hope that things will get better with time ..... but still this problem of mine is quite peculiar ..... and i'm not able to tell anyone how this problem of nervousness that i have troubles me ......

You keep on burping because (I think) ou still have more acid in yourstmach.
Some tablets that you take will take a day or two to get better some for sound three wks. Add prayer for God to help thanks
