The best person to ask about drug interactions is your Pharmacist at your local drug store...they know which meds should not be taken together and which ones can be taken together safely,....

The protonix should be the better med to take as I am sure it is stronger...talk to the Pharmacist and let me know what they advise.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

Yes, it is possible for  acid reflux to cause much of the symptoms you mentioned...it is best to see a GI Dr for testing as it is possible to have similar symptoms for too little acid as well as too much, so meds for too much can make you feel worse....and there are other medical issues that could cause similar symptoms.

Go for testing and let us know what you find out.

Also look to your families medical history.
