Hello, yes I have had to change me eating habitats, I had to because it gets worse when I eat spicy, greasy acidic foods. I can't drink orange juice nor cranberry juice which I love to drink. Yes he did check my gall bladder and he said that it was fine. I do think that he is wrong in some cases too. I will deff. take your offer on looking for another gi dr. Thank you so much!!

Hi...were u checked for H.Pylori....or ur Gall Bladder looked at?......

Did ur dr tell u to make lifestyle changes as well as modify ur diet as foods can affect gerd?
Meds alone can not help u get better u have to avoid what is also a trigger.

Please see our Health Pages for the list of foods to avoid as well as lifestyle changes.

Ur dr may not be 100% right as to what is causing ur gerd, but if he is treating it  for 2 months with out doing further testing I would deff see another GI dr.

Good luck
