h. pylori

hi there, im a 51 years old male.
recently went for endoscopy, going to have a CT scan soon.
had pneumonia and gastric pain at about this year feb or march.
dont have symptoms like vomiting, feeling bloated before or after meals,
no loss of appetite. i do not have nausea feelings or no abdomen pain.
had medications like clarithromycin, omeprazole and amoxicillin.
i keep burping. why ?
will h. pylori cause bumps in stomach in different area ?
is it possible that the bumps will go away when i constantly take the medications?
will i recover from this ?

please reply asap.
worried ):

Omeprazole is to reduce stomach acid and is a gerd med.....

Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It fights bacteria in your body. It is thought to work by entering the bacterial cell, acting on some components of the cell and destroying the bacteria.

Metronidazole is used to treat bacterial infections of the vagina, stomach, skin, joints, and respiratory tract. This medication will not treat a vaginal yeast infection

Tetracycline hydrochloride,
an antibiotic.
indications It is prescribed in the treatment of bacterial infections.

I could not find Bismuth Chelate but this may be a good representation of what it may have been rx'd....be careful not to take too much...follw the rx closely.

Bismuth oxychloride is sometimes used in cosmetics. Bismuth subnitrate and bismuth subcarbonate are used in medicine.[1] Bismuth subsalicylate (the active ingredient in Pepto-Bismol and (modern) Kaopectate) is used as an antidiarrheal and to treat some other gastro-intestinal diseases (oligodynamic effect).

It can take quite a bit of meds to get rid of this condition.....I pray all this works.

hi ! yesterday was the appointment. my dad did the H.pylori blow test the other day. then ytd was the consultation. doctor says the bacterials are still in my dad's stomach so, my dad is given 4 packs of stronger medications to kill those bacterials. they were Tetracycline Hydrochloride, bismuth chelate, metronidazole and omeprazole (which i know what's that for). what are these medications used for.
im still so afraid. ):

So, ur father's dr is doing all the right things...and until it is determined ...this is the best he can do.And when the testing is complete if ur father has Hpylori or nething else then the meds will change.

I pray that it is only reflux and the meds he is on helps him feel better and the rest of the family as well : )

Hi...no I do not believe it can...usually other meds r used either an antibiotic or a probiotic can be used......omperazole is a pronton pump inhibitor not something used for bacteria.

I am sure the dr will rx the proper meds.
