does any one get heart pacs from having Acid reflux and does it last for hours on hours
Sorry I missed this....but yes it is possible for a reflux med to stop working, I was on prilosec for yrs and then one day it stopped helping me, so I now take a H2 blocker...pepcid...and it works great.

had heart echo today will see cardio dr Monday ,
I can say when I have most the paps I also burp with them , so that makes me think acid or ibs is causing the pacs . not sure after I see cardio dr I will check into acid reflux dr I been taking proslice for years maybe a time to change or take dr meds lol

Hmmm that is a good question....I am not sure.
I can tell u I had issues but later was DX'd with yet another condition on top of IBS and reflux....and my heart issues resolved after I had surgery for it.
It does not sound like ur issue at all, just saying I had other issues, so mayb u have another underling issue yet to be DX?

Hi ....yes, it is possible, but u should always look to ur family medical history and get checked to make sure it is not ur heart.
Thyroid issues can also mimic this as well as bloating from reflux can put pressure on the vagus nerve.....
Do see a Dr and keep us posted.
