Can birth control pills assist in deterring diarrhea after gall bladder removel?

I had my gallbladder removed in January.  This had a negative affect in me psychologically, to the level that I was booked into a 'recovery hospital' for a few days.  My fear is that I will have constant diarrhea.  I am now healed, and for 80% of the month my stool are 'normal'.  This is until my menstrual period comes.  Then I have diarrhea again.  This then triggers my anxiety and anxiousness to my original fears.

So if I go on birth control - would this stop the diarrhea associated  with my menstrual period?
What pi; would you suggest?
