Gallbladder lumen

I have  pain in the in upper abdomen  for a couple of years but it is not constant.  Sometime in the middle toward the left and sometime in the mid-right side.  I have nausea during day but no vomiting.      Only med I take is Synthroid 100 mcg.   I am overweight but no real health problems.

After recent auto accident CT scan shows large gallstone in the gallbladder lumen and my blood work indicates:  WBC - 17.8H, SEGS% 79.9H, SEG# 14.2H,  Lymph% 11.70L,   MONO# 1.35H, Glucose 145.H.     I gave blood 2 weeks ago and the cholesterol was 247.

The only thing they told me in the ER was I had Large Gallstone.    They were check for spleen damage due to accident..

Any thoughts on this.   Thanks

Large gallstone is very probably the cause of your nausea. The only treatment is gallbladder removal.

You might have other problems, which cause nausea, like H. pylori infection. In this case you'd feel burning in upper middle abdomen, heartburn, and you'd probably burp occasionally.
