Chronic bloating and no solution, please help

Hi! I have some problems and anyone who has had similar situation and found results please help me.

Symptoms are nausea, bloating, indigestion, mainly after eating.
So for 3 years now I have been diagnosed with acid reflux. Been on basicaly every med on the market and recently I am on 2x daily protonix which has completley gotten rid of the nausea. My bloating (indigestion?) and belching throughout the day has gotten worse. It gets worse by the end of the day and after I eat dinner sometimes lasts for an hour.

I also just started a new weight lifting routine to try and counter this weight loss I had in the past 3 years (dropped from 150 to like 135). I started this the same time as my 2x daily protonix. After and during weight lifting it feels as though I cant breathe and have to sit down, then I belch for like 5 minutes. At the end it takes 2-3 hours before my stomach feels 'normal' again and I can actualy eat anything. I also have a hard time breathing due to this feeling of 'gas' in my upper stomach.

I have had two endoscopies done with them saying my z-line (sphincter muscle?) was abnormal. Kindve upset cause that's all they said. The second one said I had inflammation and had gastritis. Same results for the barium swallow test(more inflammation) All these tests were done before the 2x protonix approx. 4 weeks ago.

Blood tests and biopsies show negative for h.pylori and no cancer! (luckily ;P)

Does anyone else have this? Could I be swallowing too much air and not know it? Is there a solution?

p.s. sorry for the long post.

I can imagine that lifting weights tighten your stomach and push some gas out of it, or even from small intestine. If it was only the air, you'd get rid of it fast. If you think, it is a large amount of, and you need several minutes to expell it, than it should be from bacteria. Well, sometimes bacteria may overgrow in the small intestine. It is a BREATH TEST for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) wich can show this.

This condition (belching) is also worsened drasticaly by lifting weights. Could possibly I just have developed some sort of intolerance for getting rid of gas?

Honestly, I can't imagine any other cause of chronic belching, as H. pylori. I believe breath urea test is a reliable test for this.

On the other hand, you eat a lot of fibers. When bacteria break down fibers, they produce gas, but this would go with flatulence, not with belching.

My diet ever since starting the 2x daily protonix has been strictly oats, eggs, whole wheat foods, nuts, milk, chicken (all meats actualy), and vegetables & fruits. I cut out all soda and caffinated drinks 1+ year ago.

Strange thing is throughout the night I sometimes wakeup and belch.

Well, strange - no H. pylori. What's your diet and what do you drink?
