Thank you so much for your words they have really put me at ease. Its just the surgery was one of my worst fears ever and now I have to face it. Slowly the fear is going away because the discomfort my gallstones are causing be are not too good. Im having the surgery this month not sure when though. Does it take you a long time to wake up from the anesthesia after the surgery is over?
I had my gallbladder removed this june. I didn't have stones, just malfunction. I thought the surgery was easy and nothing to be uneasy about. Its a easy and common surgery that most surgeons do alot of. Its really safe, they go thru the belly button and do laser surgery so recovery time is quick. The surgery takes about 30min and I was in recovery for about 3hrs and then went home. I was back to work a week later. You will be sore and have gas pain because they fill your stomach up with air. And I love anesthesia. It is wonderful. As soon as they put it in you IV you feel instantly relaxed and fall off to sleep. Its the best sleep ever! And I've had anesthesia many times(no drs could find out what was wrong-go figure) and haven't had any problems yet.
