Gallbladder issues without gallbladder
Had gallbladder out in June. Took a few months, got better. Then all of a sudden reflux like symptoms(someone blowing up a balloon in chest area and squeezing it, 1000 carbonated bubbles in back, and some pains in back--treated for relux, meds not working real well). had gastritis, have thyroid disorder and am taking synthroid and effexor xr. can u help me out here and tell me, is it possible to have the gallbladder symptoms(which is what this feels like) without gallbladder? I am going to a doctor on Thursday.

Hi Guys! Recovering. Taking my 75 mcg of synthorid, 2 probiotics and digestive enzymes. Have an appt (as other appts had to be rescheduled) on Thursday morning. Feeling better mentally, spiritually... Hope you guys are well.
It is ironic. Faith and trusti n God is important but I think part of the reason that these issues have been going on so DRAMATIC in my life has been because I have not had enough trust. (I am normal like most of us).... I am going to try it this week with just my thyroid med and an occasional Tums. A friend of mine suggested to keep a two liter bottle of Coke, and sip it during the night if I have an episode. As for the Gallbladder issues--common sense should have told me--it is bile reflux.. There is a difference between acid reflux and bile. IRead about bile reflux and bile and digestion. Email me anytime!
You were not being too dramatic at all. I just had my gallbladder removed and have a thyroid issue too, so it helps me to hear how others make out when issues arise. I thank you for sharing this.

The aloe juice... It is not the best in the world.....
By the way, the medicine I took, made me crazy and caused me to end up in the ER with heart issues, but it was not my heart.
I want to apologize. I have been so wrapped up in myself and my life and my ailments that I feel like I have allowed my attitude to slip some. And you don't know me and here I am complaining and sounding like a crazed woman. People don't want to hear about ailments. I know I don't. I think this was God's way of teaching mea valuable lesson. I had to become a little bit of a floundering fish, be out of sorts so that He could show me, He's in control of my life, not me. And he used this mysterious ailments-the gallbladder and the reflux to make me crazed enough to where I finally could listen and learn and begin to trust. I will tell you this, through the last two weeks, God has revealed a lot to me and I know which direction I am going. I don't think my problems aretotally my thyroid. I really think I do have reflux--there are two kinds, bile and acid. My dad and I talked about it alot. We think I have bile, i.e. gallbladder removed could cause that. So, we are going to the dr. on Thursday and we are going to make something happen. (There is a drug that helps with bile removal) Don't worry about me anymore and I am sorry for being anal. I am good now. NO MORE AILMENT DRAMA!

Well, blood tests were taking, as well as one on my heart. An EKG was done. Everything was fine. There is an abnormal reading on EKG that is indicative of past heart issues(I had an enlarged heart several years ago and it got better). I am taking two 75 mcg for thyroid, and my blood pressure has come back to a normal reading. The Effexor made me feel good this morning. I have had muscle spasms for a while, and now they are in my back. Dr. swears I just have reflux. So, they have made me an appt. to go back to specialist on Thursday the 17th. I bought some Aloe Vera juice!!
Can you please give an update after your doctor visit? I'm curious to hear how you made out. Thank you.
