Is oesophagitis reversible?

Ehi
I was sent for endoscopy and was diagnosed with "moderately severe reflex oesophagitis", "gastritis" and "duodinitis". I was treated with omeprazole for several weeks but the thing did not go. I had to discontinue the treatment because I was finding no improvement and the debts were getting out of manageable proportions. Now I still find difficulty in swallowing, but the most publicly embarrassing is the hiccupping and belching. Is this conidition treatable/curable? Or am I going to continue like this? Am I at risk of fatality? …And I experience shortness of breath. Is this related? What about the dizziness, tingilng, vertigo and headaches?

Yes, celiac is possible..tingling and vertigo can be symptoms of nerve impairment due to vit B malabsorption.

I think you should have breath test for H. pylori, and then, about a weak after completing  eventual treatment, you'll see, which symptoms remained.

You need to make sure you don't have H. pylori, so double-check to see if was found during the biopsy.

Do you have anyone in your family with a history of food intolerances or celiac disease? I'm asking because of your mention of the dizziness, tingling, vertigo and headache. Those symptoms could come from other things, but they can also come from celiac disease.

BELCHING is very probably from H. pylori infection of stomach, which is btw the most common cause of gastro-esophageal reflux you have. When you have H. pylori, any amount of anti-acid drugs are not enough, so you need antibiotics (two weeks cure usually). Diagnosis of H. pylori is by a BREATH TEST, have it soon.

Duodenitis and gastritis are usually reversible, so is duodenitis if it does not proceed to Barret's esophagus, which is pre-cancerous change and may eventually develop into a cancer.

Just have a test for H. pylori, you are far from life dangerous situation, but you should treat it right away.

Shortness of breath is from acid comming into the throat and inhaled into the bronchi.

Dizziness, tingilng, vertigo and headaches....
All these, except tingling may be due to dehydration. Be sure to drink so much, you'll excrete at least 200 ml of clear urine in the morning. Also make this skin turgor test:

(see picture)

But you should describe this a bit more.
