Cascade Stomach

I have been diagnosed a cascade stomach. As a result of my condition I need to take antacids to fight the excess stomach acid and the reflux at night, eat less but more more often and try to elevate the upper part of my body while asleep.
Does not seem so serious at first.
What I am worried about is the future of this condition. Can cascade stomach be life threatening and if yes what is the chance for that(Like just a possibility for complications or a Lethal outcome that will certainly come in time)???
Other than stomach acids(Which I nullify with antacids) I do not feel any other discomfort nor pain.
Please answer!
Thank you.

Hi there,
In cascade stomach there can be severe reflux with abdominal pain .It can be controlled easily with medications and lifestyle changes. It can be a rare cause of gastric pseudo obstruction if left untreated. You should continue with your medications and sleep at an elevated position. For more queries and assistance it is best to consult your doctor and get your doubts clarified. Do keep me posted.
