Pain around my right ribs while swallowing last 4 years, no idea what it is. Help!

Hi,
I am a 25 year old male and for the past 4 years I've had a pain behind the right corner of my rib. It hurts while I'm swallowing food but now I can feel it randomly throughout the day as well. It seems the larger and thicker the piece of food I eat, the more I can feel the pain. It's almost like the food is hitting something on the way down to my stomach. It started as a very light dull pain but has gotten progressively worse. My family doctor has no idea what it could be and sent me for an x-ray two years ago but saw nothing out of the ordinary.
Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?

You will need at least an ultra sound, X ray will not do. The liver doesn't feel pain (normally), but your bile duct system does. And since you indicate that food can trigger this pain, it also triggers your biliary system as well. Only a US or MRI will provide the needed information, and US is much cheaper than US.
