Pain under left rib

I'm a 30 yr old female.  I could really use some help.  About a month ago, I woke up with a sharp pain what I would think is right below my heart.  I've had this sharp pain before, but with a few deep breaths it goes away.  This didn't.  It countinued through out the day.  The next day it was more of a dull aching or pulsing feeling.  It's right behind my left rib cage.  It comes and goes, sometimes feels worse then other times.  Sometimes the aching seems to go around my back as well.  I seem to burp more often which will ease the ache for a moment or so.  Same with going to the bathroom.  I don't seem to have many other symptoms other then those.  Any ideas or thoughts?

Yep, go speak with your doctor.  Unexplained pain is certainly a reason to seek a medical opinion.  Your body is trying to tell you something just isn't right, so listen to it.  :-)
