I am 34 year old male and I had my gallbladder removed when I was 31 or 32 because it was not functioning. After a year or so I started feeling the same type of pain that I felt before I had it removed. The doctor's keep on pushing the fact that I have a fatty liver and that I need to lose weight. The weird thing is that my doctor tells me that the pain I feel is not coming from my liver, but they just keep on pushing the liver issue. I want to know why the pain is still there and what is it coming from. The pain is sharp and is in the same area as my liver and what used to be my gallbladder. It happens more often after a meal. Also I am suffering from heartburn every single night (not sure if this has anything to do with the pain, but it all seems to go together). I have seen several posts that sort of match up with my problem. Most have pain that extends to their back or to their shoulder, but my pain stays exactly where it originates and it is sometimes so painful that I have to lay down and stretch out to ease it. My wife seems to think that it has something to do with my pancrease??? I also read that Lupus may cause this type of pain. There is a history of Lupus in my family, but I used to get checked annually for it up to age 25 and was never diagnosed with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.........I'm BAFFLED
