Abdominal pain

I have lower abdominal pain 2 inches below my belly button towards the left side every once in awhile. Any ideas what this might be from?

I have this similar pain too. I get it about every 4 months and this has been happening for a couple years now. None of those above ideas relate to me when it occurs though. Any other ideas?

If you are a female it could be your ovaries during ovulation.  They can cause pain.  Also, constipation can cause this type of pain.   Have you had surgery?   It would be possible to have lesion pain as well.
