Returning to weight lifting/training after POEM procedure for Achalasia Type 2

It’s been 3 weeks since I had a POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy), I was told to not train for a minimum of 5 weeks from now, to be safe.

I am a full time coach and powerlifting athlete, I was wondering if anyone experienced with the procedure and recovery process to know when and how I should return to lifting/training.

Right now I’m back to work but not lifting anything, as I have my clients to do the loading for me now.

But I’d like to know when would be a safe time to at least begin some light work or how it would be best to return to training?

Thank you for your time
