Test results for colonoscopy biopsy

Hi, I had a colonoscopy last year for some stomach pain I was having after taking Clidamycin and Amoxicillin.  I was told I had active proctitis.  When searching the web, I saw it was a form of Ulcerative Colitis or Crohns Disease.  I asked my doctor about these and he says that I have neither. Is it possible to have proctitis without having IBD.  These are the results.

Rectal Biopsy
- ACTIVE PROCTITIS, MILD TO MODERATE
Sections show increased numbers of chronic inflammatory cells in lamina proprua for this far distally, with scattered neutophils in the lamina propria as well. Changes of chronic colitis are not seen. No granulomas are seen. No dysplasia is seen.

Thanks
