Trapped wind

Problem is trapped wind with very uncomfortable feeling and sometimes pain feeling like a 'stitch' in a person over 70. Colpermin does not work right as person also has an hiatus hernia. NO acid reflux or indigestion going on.Any advice please?

Hi...this sounds very much like IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). There is medication to ease this so you should see a Gastroenterologist for an evaluation. I assume you have one since we have to start getting our colonoscopies at 50. He can tell you for sure and prescribe medication to break up the trapped gas. Best wishes.
