hello everyone !!Well I'm 37  male and been expose to TB so for 9month I got a take antibiotics with of course no alcool, start with kaiser for 2 month they did mention that I have to do a liver test every month then because of job change ,insurance and doctor change, but my new doctor disagree about liver test, when i was down i switch of doctor and find that i got a abnormal liver test actually we did 2 blood test, the first was abnormal alt 61 and 3 weeks result later the alt was 111 and ast 40,no hepatitis disease was find, the doctor decide to send me to a specialist we did ultra sound and 1 more blood test(5 differentes tube),but now I'm stock because this doctor is busy and can't see you before 3 to 4 weeks, but well may be anyone have any advice for me.
I'm a bit afraid when i was young I did drink a lot,and use drugs as well, but everything really start by taking this 9 month antibiotic,I start to have pain at the right side ribcage, and back as well,I can sleep on my right side because my shoulder is getting numb or something and at the same time i became constipate so my belly is getting pretty big as well,my stomach is making so much strange noise,my stool are orange yellow  color.
I know that it can be a cirhrosis, fatty liver or a cancer,or just the antibiotic that just bother my liver, but please if anyone have the same fealing before  and have already result please let me know,it will be nice thank you very much to all

You also get orange stools with jaundice, you can get jaundice when a stone pops out of your gallbladder and gets trapped in a duct. Making the liver work harder. I'm off for a scan tomorrow to see if I have one stuck in a duct. To be honest i'm not really bothered what the result is, just grateful something is happening and soon i'll be sorted! Hope you feel better soon!

Gallstones! My blood tests revealed abnormal liver results to the extent where I was asked if I was an alcholic(I'm not) Pain under my breastbone radiating around to my shoulder blade. Feels like an intense burning at times. Ask for a ultrasound scan, sounds like gallstones to me!

What are you taking?  Is it INH?  TB drugs will make your liver levels elevate.  INH has side effects but only causes hepatitis in about 1% of patients. CDC guidance is to continue the TB treatment unless liver levels rise to 2x normal with symptoms or 3x normal without symptoms.  You are at the 2x level now.

I have latent TB as well and I am about to start the INH in a few weeks.  I am concerned as you are about the meds and side effects but the meds are worse if the TB goes active.  Call your local health department.  They treat TB and can advise you.  Good luck.
