Let me start by saying I am 30 years old, 4'11'' tall, and 81 lbs. I have had stomach problems for as long as I can remember. smoked never drank alcohol, and never tried any type of drugs. The only trauma my tummy has ever experience is 3 pregnacies w/one miscariage. At age 22 I had a large size polyp removed from colon with an abdominal surgery, since then have suffered with IBS (constipation), a very inflammed esophagus, and constant pain and pressure in lower back, lower abdomin, and pain under ribs. oh and I have a small polyp on gallbladder (been there for 5 years). My ? is I had a routine colonoscopy today and found out I have a new problem (colitis). Don't really know much about it. Could this be why I am always in pain? Any time I take meds. I get really sick to my stomach, and cramp really bad. This happens with any type of meds even tylenol. I go back in the morning to have a us of gallbladder to look at polyp. The new doc seem to be a little more concerned than prev. doc. I love to eat but never been able to gain weight. I lose without trying. I guess I just want to know do I have anything to worry about or is all of this minor? I'm very afraid of later developing cancer since I have so many problems and have had so many problems at such a young age. My prev. doc look at my size and ask if I was anorexia or balimic, which made me very upset and is the reason I changed. I will stop now. Need a little bit of consoling.
