diabetic gastroparesis and debilitating nausea

i have had diabetic gastroparesis and my stomach produces too much bile for 4 years now. i have debilitating nausea whether i eat or not and have lost a lot of weight. the doctors put me on Reglan and sucralfate for the stomach but they seem not to be working as i suffer frequently. now am home bound and cannot go to work or school, let alone live a normal life. I also have malnutrition and have iron deficient anemia because i can go for days or months without eating anything solid, am lucky to be still alive. What other medications or supplements can i use to control these problem or what lifestyle changes can i make please help me..am in desperate need for help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, please dont do this to yourself, as the symptoms can be controlled. Diabetes can cause autonomic neuropathy and affect the digestive system, leading to problems with digestion and elimination.  Besides good glycemic control, medications such as cisapride a prokinetic agent are given to promote emptying. Begin with good lifestyle measures to control your symptoms. Exercise regularly. Take frequent small meals. Avoid those foods which are high in oil content. Eliminate alcohol, stop smoking and avoid caffeinated beverages. Regards.
