I had a ultrasound of my abdomen and a CTScan, which both didn't show that I had several gallstones. Then I had a HIDA Scan that did show the gallbladder wasn't emptying out right. Sometime the gallbladder is tricky it will work right then act up. As for cost of tests if you don't have insurance then Medicaid helped me. Most hospitals and doctors will work out a payment plan. If it is your gallbladder and you end up with a hole in it like I did then you can end up with peritonis. Not good to have peritonis.
Yah, they probably wanted to do the endoscopy because of the nausea that you have been having. Although I really think you need a HIDA scan. Is there any way you can arrange a payment plan so that you can get this test done?
A camera down my throat and hida
What test did they want to run?
Well I'm not going to see the specialist... Can't afford the test they want to run. They gotta have cash up front. Maybe my doc can figure it out
Well a mildly elevated WBC count isn't that big of a deal, but if it is very high you need to work hard to figure out what is going on.
No and they didn't say how high
Have you had any changes in your symptoms? How high is your WBC count?
My liver count is up and WBC is up
Good, I hope you find some answers soon.
Went to the doctor... She's sending me to a specialist
I go see the doc Friday I will ask thank u
Ok, I agree that looking into getting a HIDA scan would be a good idea.
It was green slimy and it wasn't solid or runny in between. Now it's clay colored and still in between. And when it hits I gotta make sure there is a restroom very close by.
What changes have you had to your bowel movements?
May I ask if they did a hida scan ?
Are you having any changes in your bowel movements? I would recommend seeing a gastroenterologist about this.
Yes I have everything came back normal.
Welcome to the gastroenterology community! Have you had an ultrasound to look for gallstones?
biliary cirrhosis, cholecystitis, or hepatitis
