Don't want to hurt

I'm a 42 year old lady and these last few weeks I've been in the ER with severe upper right quadrant pain. First the said it was my gall bladder sent me home with pain meds and same thing happened the next week. Went back again double over. The pain was at it's worse and again sent me home. I have nausea and in so much pain. They done CT scan, x-rays and blood test. I'm tired of pain

I had a ultrasound of my abdomen and a CTScan, which both didn't show that I had several gallstones. Then I had a HIDA Scan that did show the gallbladder wasn't emptying out right. Sometime the gallbladder is tricky it will work right then act up. As for cost of tests if you don't have insurance then Medicaid helped me. Most hospitals and doctors will work out a payment plan. If it is your gallbladder and you end up with a hole in it like I did then you can end up with peritonis. Not good to have peritonis.

Yah, they probably wanted to do the endoscopy because of the nausea that you have been having.  Although I really think you need a HIDA scan.  Is there any way you can arrange a payment plan so that you can get this test done?

Well I'm not going to see the specialist... Can't afford the test they want to run. They gotta have cash up front. Maybe my doc can figure it out

Well a mildly elevated WBC count isn't that big of a deal, but if it is very high you need to work hard to figure out what is going on.

Ok, I agree that looking into getting a HIDA scan would be a good idea.

It was green slimy and it wasn't solid or runny in between. Now it's clay colored and still in between. And when it hits I gotta make sure there is a restroom very close by.
