gastric bypass patient w/ stomach distress...please help?

I am a 29 yrs old female gastric bypass patient (march 2009)  I been a week now having stomach discomfort everytime  I eat.   I feel that 15 minutes after I eat something my stomach starts some weird peristalsis (moving a lot) and I start getting gases and I am like that for about an 1 hour and every thing back to normal after.  I tried changing my diet to a very low fat, soups, healthy things but even liquids are causing this distress in my stomach.  I also notice a sleep pattern change... since then I have no problem getting a sleep but at 4:30am I wake up and no matter how hard I try to fall asleep I cant.  Another detail I been 2 weeks and a half with ortho evra patch but my ob/gyn says that it does not have to do with it. Been 3-4 days now drinking prilosec in the morning, carafate an hour before eating and zantac before going to bed, but no change.  Another detail that might help I am going to the bathroom every day normal color but not the same consistency. I am worried.  Please help!

It's worth switching our method of birth control for awhile to see if that could be causing issues. Any changes in medication should be ruled out. If you started with the patch 2 weeks ago and this problem started 1 week ago the timeline is too close to overlook.
