Stomach Pain/bloating w/o other symptoms

I have had very uncomfortable abdominal pain and bloating without any other symptoms for the last several weeks.  It is located above my belly button and is not worse on either side.  I was diagnosed about 13 years ago with IBS but rarely have had problems with that.  The problems that I currently have are very different from that.  4 days ago I completely changed my eating habits to see if it would make a difference.  I have been eating strictly veggies (no gas types), fruits including pappya and pinapple, shrimp, and protein drinks.  I have not seen an improvement as of yet.  Do you have any suggestions or advise you could give me.

Just don't add fiber all at once!  You're already getting a lot of fiber with the change in diet, so I don't think you'd need to supplement much, if at all, with something like metamucil.  If you haven't had a colonoscopy recently, I think it's reasonable to revisit your GI doc.
