Hello,
I just found out I have Gallstones the other day. All though your symptoms are a little different. I have been reading alot of information. I read that a Gallstone attack can come after eating certain foods. My symptoms are, a very bloated stomach, bad sweats, chill, vomiting, pain in my back. I went to Doctor because my stomach is never big like this, I look about 5-6 months pregnant. The Doctor ordered a sonogram and that is how I found out I had Gallstones. I have yet to see a specialist, so I do not know to much about this, but your symptoms sound like Gallstones to me.
I hope you figure it, but I would not put off going to the Doctor.
Thank you,
Shauna

I would see your OB-GYN regarding  the pain you have monthly, and tell him about the other pain you experienced and see if he thinks you need to see a GI doctor.  We all have had this after eating something that has not agreed with us.  I think this is the best place to start.  If your OB-GYN doesn't feel it is necessary to see a GI doctor but it starts happening frequently, then seek out a GI doctor for peace of mind.
