rectal bleeding and distended stomach

For the past few weeks I have had a distended stomach off and on and diarrhea. This week I have noticed I have had alot of bowel movements and extremely loose stool. This morning I started having bright red blood on my toilet tissue and in the toilet bowel (enough to turn the water bright red as well) In addition I have had a distended stomach today with pain just below my chest bone that is moderate to severe. (I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago due to infection and the pain is quite similair). I have had a hemmoroid since the birth of my son so I am not sure if this is related or not?

Not sure what to do or where to go at this point.

If the outcome turns out not to be haemorrhoids or H Pylori etc (i.e. inconclusive) I suggest that you ask for a colonoscopy for maximum reassurance

Search H Pylori and see if the symptoms are the same. It could be the cause and is treatable with antibiotics. It needs to be treated or could lead to ulcers and other problems.
