Hunger

I have had excessive hunger for 10 months. I have had numerous tests and the only issue was a slow emptying stomach which does not explain the excessive hunger. I will eat something (enough for a meal) and still be hungry or hungry within an hour.

Thanks,

Sher

I have been eating 6 small meals a day and eating more protein (suggested by a nutritionist) and neither one of these are helping.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Actually many people with gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying) experience hunger.  However, these people usually also experience nausea or vomiting after eating.  I would recommend you try eating multiple small meals throughout the day and see if that helps.
