Peptic Ulcer Disease - Symptoms
The symptoms of a peptic ulcer vary and, by themselves, are not a reliable way to tell whether you have an ulcer. Also, some people may not have symptoms.

The symptoms of an ulcer often can be confused with other abdominal conditions, such as dyspepsia or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Chronic Constipation: Facts vs. Myths
Constipation, the most common digestive complaint in the U.S. population, can make life miserable. Not only does constipation make you feel bloated, headachy, and irritable, but relieving constipation -- especially long-term or chronic constipation -- is time consuming and expensive. Each year in the U.S., chronic constipation leads to around 2.5 million doctor visits -- and medication costs of many hundreds of millions of dollars.

Common ulcer symptoms include:

A burning, aching pain-or a pain that feels like hunger-between the navel and the breastbone. The pain sometimes extends to the back.
Belly pain that can last from a few minutes to a few hours and usually goes away for a while after taking an antacid or acid reducer.
Weeks of pain that comes and goes and may alternate with pain-free periods.
Loss of appetite and weight loss.
Bloating or nausea after eating.
Less common but more serious symptoms of ulcers include:

Vomiting after meals.
Vomiting blood and/or material that looks like coffee grounds.
Black stools that look like tar, or stools that contain dark red blood.
Symptoms of ulcers in the upper small intestine (duodenal ulcers) and in the stomach (gastric ulcers) are similar, except for when pain occurs.

Pain from a duodenal ulcer may occur several hours after eating (when the stomach is empty) and may improve after eating. Pain also may wake you frequently in the middle of the night.
Pain from a gastric ulcer may occur shortly after eating (when food is still in the stomach).
Some ulcers do not cause symptoms. These are known as silent ulcers. Silent ulcers are more common in older adults, people who have diabetes, or people who use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), or naproxen (Aleve).

Complications of an ulcer include bleeding, perforation, penetration, or obstruction of the digestive tract. Complications can happen in both silent ulcers and ulcers that cause symptoms.

I get the same thing - told by doc that is was GERD and IBS - which is so general, I don't believe. I belief it is LOW acid in the stomach - so low it can't digest foods. The stomach is naturally acidic which is how it breaks down food. What I have done since is take a half shot of true apple cider vinegar 5 mins. before eating each normal meal. breakfast, lunch dinner - and eat a little less at each serving - let your stomach adjust to digesting food properly. Take any vitamins with food although you should not need vitamins if you at regular good food - stuff that grows from the ground mostly. Don't waste your money on all the crapppp out there. And drink a glass of milk/ similar before bed. Gallon of water throughout the day too - flush anything that has been lingering in your body - water alone will help this. Don't sit so much and get out and do something fun, shopping or walking around, whatever - your stomach won't heal while your sitting all the time, needs movement to process correctly. That's what I'm doing - sick of failed doctor attempts.

It could be many things so I wouldn't attempt to say what it could be.  But you really need to see a doctor, a Gastroenterologist.  Good luck and keep us posted on what you find out.
