11 week test results

good morning doctor. quick question, a while back i had a standard hiv combo test, which was at the 11 week mark after i had a little scare. the results for the EIA test came back nonreactive/negative, but the p24 test result said "abnormal result". my pcp did not seem worried and said i was perfectly fine, and the same was stated on the lab results. just was wondering if i should be worried or if i should accept the results of the EIA test. thank you.

I don't know what an "abnormal P24" result means; mostly the result would be described as positive or negative.  So I don't know how to interpret that result.  The negative antibody test at 11 weeks should be 100% reliable, and I doubt you have HIV.  But I suggest you get more detail from your PCP and accept his or her advice about the interpretation.

Hey!
The Doctor states in the post above that 11 weeks is 100% reliable...at 18 weeks you would be in the clear...

Joints popping and cracking are not symptoms of HIV.

You've had 2 negative tests already.  I think Dr. HHH would tell you you've overtested.
