Need help doctors worried!!
Hello I am a 22 year old male I was in Cancun exactly 3 months ago I hooked up with a sex worker (female) I had anal sex with her which I think was protected, I’m pretty sure the next I remember wondering if I could get some thing from a ** and wasn’t worried about the anal so I’m pretty sure I used a condom for anal. Then I received a blowjob unprotected from her and then she fingered my *** for a bit.
I tested at a planned parenthood hood at 6 weeks and came up negative with uni-gold rapid test.
I still wasn’t convinced that I was in the clear so I went to San Francisco city clinic @ 9.5 weeks and did all the std test and came up negative for all of them and did an ELISA test and an rna test where they say they can detect the virus its self as early 9-12 days I don’t know if this true but they both came up negative any ways.

Another some thing Im worried about but I think is completely unfounded is that I got this fishy home rapid test from tailand or something and the lancet that came with it looked suspect and I wasn’t sure about the alcohol pad either but used them. I figure they were in the mail for over a week is it possible if they were used before that they could still infect me?
1. So my questions are do you think I’m in the clear about the testing? The lady at sf city clinic said I was good for every thing from the sex worker back and I havnt had sex since then.
2. Do I need to to a 3month test or even a 6 month test?
3. None of the test are specific for hiv 2 the lady at sf city clinic said that would come up in of the hiv test rna or elsia I don’t know which? Is this true? I feel like I should test for hiv 2 to be safe.
4. Is there any possible way that after a negative rna test

You need to realize this and stop worrying abuot whether or not some nefarious person is trying to infected persons with HIV with contaminated, fake HIV testing kits. I got this self home rapid HIV test from the far east like Singapore or china I'm not sure. Either way the stuff was in the mail for at least a 3-4days to 2 weeks.

but that's not the type of lancet I got, I used one like this, the one on the left its just like a needle attached to plastic and you ***** your finger using your other hand and push hard. Also I did wipe my finger down with an alcohol pad but I think the pad was fake too because it said it was 75% alcohol but I though they were all 70% percent.
So any ways I did the test which I think was fake, because I tried a second one using hot sauce instead of blood and it came out negative with a line next to control but shouldn't it not have worked if I didn't use blood?
So here are my questions: And I know they sound so crazy but I think that maybe they could have purposefully infected either the lancet with HIV or that it had been used before, or that some how there something fishy w/ the alcohol pad could have had HIV and infected me when I wiped my finger with it while i was bleeding.
I just don't trust this whole thing, I mean if some one is mean enough to make a fake HIV test then I could see some one trying to spread it this way.
Also the alcohol pad I used was different then one shown.

and also even if a lancet or a damp surface had hiv blood/semen on it and was enclosed in a packet for a week while in the mail that still would be a risk because the virus would die right?

You had an exposure in Cancun with a commercial sex worker which may have been protected for anal sex but not oral sex. At 9.5 weeks you have HIV and STD tests at a SF STC clinic Could you have HIV? No.
Here is why:
1. Most CSWs in Mexico do not have HIV
2. The risk from a single exposure is very, very low. Less than 1 in 10,000 from oral sex and less than 1 in 100 from anal sex , if it is unprotected (you were protected making your risk close to zero)
3. You have been tested. The antibody test at 9.5 weeks would have detected over 95% of infections. the sensitivity of the test you had is further increased by the HIV RNA test.
Bottom line., you do not have HIV and do not need further testing. AS for the mail order HIV test, that did not put you at risk. EWH
