Sore throat

Hello, I'm sooo sorry for posting again. but i'm  really nervous please understand. My case:5-6 times unprotected sex with a 21 year old guy from Germany. (I'm a 24 female). was really nervous and took hiv test at 4 and 6 weeks=negative. at week 6-7 had a sore throat wich just wont go away. 2 doctors took a look inside my throat and could not see anything (no redness no swollen glands) my quastion is can a sore throat that goes on more than 2-4 weeks be a symptom of HIV? if it was, can doctors see anything? had no fever... please help i promise i wont post again.

Your thread 10 days ago ended with you asking "can a symptom of hiv be only sore throat?".  I answered no, then terminated the thread.  I have not changed my mind; the answer is the same.  Your test results show you do not have HIV. Something else is causing your sore throat.  Really, you can stop worrying about it.

A six week hiv test is 99.9% right, sounds negative to me. I think you just have a normal sore throat. Could be from strees too, so don't worry about it. You are ok. Talk to your doctor if you need to but I think your test proves you are fine. And ALWAYS use condoms in the future.

Hello Doctor. thank you for your comment. i really losing my mind here. yesterday (15 weeks) i developed a sore throat again, i feel i also have fever,  i dont feel so well. can it be ARS? does people with hiv are sick alot?
i really would appreciate your response. i am really scared to take another test and the guilt is just killing me.

Your test results prove your symptoms are not due to HIV.  See your doctor about it.

Hello Doctor. No complaints today, just wanted to say thank you! I really wanted to be me again so i got the corage and took the test one more time, i took the OraQuick test at 15 weeks and it was negative!!! I'm so happy i feel like i got my life back! I really should have listened to you from the start. Thank you so much for the support may God bless you!
