How exactly do you presume you are at risk of HIV from a handjob? Did the escort have a large open wound gushing blood on her hand which came into prolonged contact with bloody open wound on your penis? Even if this were the case, which is extremely doubtful, the chances of you becoming infected are about as great as being killed by a unicorn.
Thanks for the info...
My wife came back from a business trip 2 days ago, and she is 3 months pregnant. I figured (as you stated) that there is nothing to worry about, but she told me she had 2 sores on the roof of her mouth, aside from being almost constantly nauseous.
This morning she told me she felt a 3rd one. she says they are bumps, close to the gum line, and hurt to the touch.
We had sex a few days before she left. I will also add that at 9 weeks of pregnancy she had a blood draw test from her Dr that came back negative.
Are mouth sores something to worry about, because when she told me about them this morning my heart skipped a beat and could not wait to tell you about this for a little bit of guidance.
Maybe handjobs are not completely risk free?
Help me Dr
Welcome to the forum. Oral sex is very low risk for HIV and hand jobs zero risk, and your tests prove you weren't infected. There also is no significant risk of other STDs, especially persisting a year later; and your symptoms are not those of any STD or HIV. To your specific questions:
1,2) Neither HIV nor other STDs cause joint pain of this sort or acne.
3,4) Hand jobs are totally risk free for HIV and all STDs.
5) Negative HIV antibody tests at 3 and 6 months after the last exposure are 100% proof that you are not infected.
6) You do not need any testing on account of hand-genital exposure. Your symptoms are not due to HIV seroconversion.
I hope this helps. Best wishes--- HHH, MD
