Thank you a lot and really I appreciate it you are so kind and your advices are helpful I won't ever think about hiv never may hid bles you with my best regards
Don't over-think this. It doesn't matter whether and how long HIV can survive outside the body. Exposures like you had simply do not transmit the virus. HIV is difficult to transmit, which is why it requires sex to do so. The things you mention are entirely risk free.
That will end this thread. I won't ahve any more comments or advice.
last question the hiv exposure only when any body have unprotected sex and drugs injectors ects as we read that is mean if i touch on example infected blood with out my attention in any where or wear something like slipper or shoes or clothes for infected person may be there is some blood on it or throughout drawing the blood for test in the labs and donation process the gloves may used before and touched infected blood all of these cases are considered as hiv risk or no , hiv can survive out side the body and become infectious if i stay a way of sex except with my wife and no drugs injectors at all or using blades at barber shops that is mean no need for hiv test at all let me know please because really ia m so anxious and worry of hiv infection i want to know the fact and truth about the possibility of surviving hiv outside the body after air exposure and could it will be infectious or active even in the water also could water and air and sands kills hiv virus
You're welcome. Have a happy new year and stay safe.
You are so kind that is mean my results are conclusive and reliable 100 percent won't be changed after 3 months or 6 months I am free of hiv I am so happy happy new year doctor and thank you for your advice I appreciate it a lot
The official advice HIV testing should be delayed three months to have completely reliable results Is only for the standalone antibody tests, not the duo test of the sort you had. And even for the antibody tests, the results almost always are are 100% reliable after 6-8 weeks. Below is a link to a thread that discusses these issues in detail:

In other words, I stand behind my previous comments and advice. Stop worrying about it and move on.
I am just worry about hiv I will do std test soon but I tested also for virus b and c also all are negative virus b one month after exposure and c 8 weeks afters exposure with my last p24 combo test at 57 th day after exposure but all doctors and lab technicians advised me to retest after 90 days for hiv for conclusive result that is why I became worry and afraid if I retest after 90 days do you think there is possibility the result will changed have you heard a out it before or happened especially regarding duo or p24 combo tests when get negative results after 36 days about 5 weeks and same negative result after 57 days about 8 weeks is that happened please I am still worry thank you for your advice
Welcome to the forum. Directly to your questions.
1) This is really the only question you have asked that matters and I am stopping to make this reply before I read the rest. Those test results prove you did not catch HIV during your sexual exposure a few weeks earlier. Test results always overrule exposure history and symptoms. No matter what the rest of your question says, you can be sure you did not catch HIV.
Now I have read the rest of your question. As I predicted, they do not change my opinion or advice.
2) Being asymptomatic does not change the timing of HIV test results.
3) The sorts of skin problems you describe do not suggest HIV, and your test results prove something other than HIV is the cause.
4) You do not need any further testing.
5) You don't mention any STD testing. Your risk for routine STDs (chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc) was a lot higher than for HIV, so you might consider testing for them if that hasn't been done. But from an HIV standpoint, you can and should resume unprotected sex with your wife. You cannot infect her with something you do not have.
My last advice is that you get into the habit of always using condoms for sex outside your marriage.
I hope this has helped. Best wishes-- HHH, MD
