Believe your test results. At the time you were taking it, prednisone would not be expected to effect your HIV test results.
Your symptoms are not suggestive of HIV- they occurred too long after your exposure and lasted too long to be HIV.
Given your test results, you should be confident that you do not have HIV. You do not need further testing either. Take care. EWH
So the prednisone will not effect my negative 12 week test?
I do not need to test at 6 months?
4 weeks is too long for a rash to appear after exposure?
You have just re-stated what my answer said. EWH
I have been stressed out for 17 weeks.
I am afraid that the prednisone being a immune surpressant hid hiv antibodies from my duo test.
Do you think that is possible?
I can not figure out how I went feeling terrible for 17 weeks and then all of a sudden one day I feel back to normal?
Can the prednisone delay seroconversion?
I've answered this question. Believe your test results. I have nothing more to say. If your test results and my reassurrances do not help, I would urge you to consider seeking counsleing for these concerns. They are urealistic. EWH
I took a Oraquick Rapid Advace Hiv 1/2 oral test at 4 months past exposure and it was negative
Is Oraquick test accurate and reliable or should I do a blood test
The OraQuick is accurate. it is time for you to believe that you do not have HIV. In your case, the tests have proved this more than once. EWH
My rash has come back
Do you think I should retest for HIV?
Should I do blood test or oral swab?
You do not have HIV you are searching the net to much.....BELIEVE your test results its conclusive...
You do not need repeat testing. Your tests have already shown that you did not get HIV from your exposure of concern. Further testing will just confirm this, no matter what sort of test you get. EWH
So no matter what exposure I had at this stage my test results prove I have not contracted HIV?
You still feel prednisone did not affect my negative HIV test at 12 weeks?
Is the 4 month Oraquick oral swab negative conclusive?
Do you think I need to do a six month test?
Does HIV cause excessive stomach gas or IBS or do you think this is caused by stress as I am having stomach issues almost daily.
Your advise has beeen really appreciated and I am having counseling.
I really do not see why you keep asking the same questions. My answers are not going to change. You need to believe your tests. They PROVE that you do not HIV HIV. You do not need further testing. Rather than repeat mys elf again and again, it is time to end this thread. There will be no further answers. EWH
sorry to ask you but need clarification on something
i had rapid oral test at 4 and 5 months past exposure and both negative but rash has never went away, just fades a little and returns on upper trunk.
can you tell me if even with rash that 4 and 5 month oral swabs are conclusive and i will stop asking questions
thank you very much and sorry for bothering you again
This thread is over. Your question has been answered (repeatedly) and there is nothing more to say. Further questions will also be deleted without comment EWH
