HIV SUPPORT

Are there people out there that would like a group for emotionalo support if dealing with AIDS OR POSITIVE HIV>  I noticed the HIV group is no longer on the group list.  I am not suprise.  It was so regulated, impersonal, and at times down right rude.  I know this is such a touchy subject if there were not regulations there could be alot of bizzare and acceptable calls and comment.

I would like to see a group that people can cry on, share there sexperience , strength and hopes.  I do not think it should get into the technicalitiy of how and when it is dx.

I have no idea on how a group is formed and how chairmains and co leaders are found.  I do not know if ther is even a need for one.  Will wait till I get feed back before I contact Medhelp.

Please let me know if you are intersted and what your needs of a support group might look like.

I'm sorry - are you HIV+?  We do have a user group that allows for discussion of HIV Anxiety, but this forum is for people who are living with HIV.  I am sorry for any confusion.

The HIV Anxiety group is here - http://www.medhelp.org/forums/HIV-Anxiety-Support/show/595

What is a user group?  I just know there have been times I have felt the need to talk to someoe who might have experienced some of the same situations.  The only one I was aware of was the HIV group that was really rigid and left no room for sharing emotions, ups and downs, tired of the pills, waiting for new tx etc.  I wanted to wait and see if there was any interest or if one was tired without success.
