Doctor Please Help

Hello,

I was in touch with a women (escorts in Montreal) in a star hotel who charged me $250/hr. This was my first interaction with a unkowing person. She took of my pants, She used Condom (Latex - Lifestyle) from start to finish. She penerated my pennis into her Vagina and immediatley I realized what had happened and pushed her out, The penetration may not be not more than 5 secs (MAXiMUM) and asked her to leave. Before that she had my pennis in her mouth with the condom covered for about 1-2 mins.

I am very very scared that I might have contracted HIV or HEP B/C, I got myself tested in the first few days after the exposure for clamydhia and Gonherra the result came back negative. After 3 weeks I got tested for Syphillis (RPR) and herpes they came back negative. I am waiting for the wait period of 3 months to get HIV tested. It has been about 8 weeks now since my exposure in middle of May.

I had a CBC complete , Hepatitis panel and HIV test performed yesterday at my primary physicians office after 8 weeks of exposure

I got my test result and they did a HIV Reflex and the result as Non Reactive, and HAV/HBV/HCV as negative. The doctor told me that it was Negative. The CBC with differential count was all in well normal ranges. The test was done after 8 weeks of exposure. Should get myself retested again...

I am having fequent Hives and as a smoker i am having cough.. Please help , Shoud i get tested in 3 months if so what are my chances?  I am getting depressed day by day.

Everyday is like waiting for ages and i am getting depressed day by day.

Another typo, perhaps from repeating myself againa and again.

4 weeks- 75-80%
6 weeks- 95%
8 weeks - 98-99%
12 weeks - >99%

Sorry EWH

Thanks a Lot for your Input and guidance. I again took a HIV reflex test again today after 13+ weeks and the result came back as "non reactive". I totally value your judgement, I only took it to give me a peace of Mind and to move along.

I also called the lab to confirm the kind of test they have done, They specified that they did a ELISA Anti body test 3rd Generation. I accquired all this info and confidence only from this forum.

I once again thank you sincerely for the morale, support & accurate diagagnosis.
1st test at 8 weeks Negative
2nd test at 13+ (3 Months) weeks Negative

Both have been done using ELISA 3rd generation anti body tests.  I hope I do not need to get tested again after 6 Months.

People don't get HIV from the exposures you describe. You are completely disregarding the fact that you used protection and are invoking HIV as a cause of every sensation in your body- you don't know how ridiculous your posts are.

You paid $15 to get the expert opinion of the doctor- I suggest that you believe his assessment that you have no HIV worries.

You have more serious diagnoses that you need to follow-up with (diabetes, thyroid problem) with your doctor, but you really need to forgot about HIV from your non-exposure event.

Hepatitis testing at 8 weeks should be accurate.  This is the last response to this post.  Further questions will be deleted.  EWH

Doctor can you also let me know the accuracy for HBV testing at 8 weeks?. My Bilirubin was 0.6 and well under 1.2. I would appericiate if you can also answer this question.

what is the accuracy period of HBV tetsing for 8 and 12 weeks.

I thought the 8-week tests had a much higher accuracy than that.    Have you changed your opinion?  Can you just put your best estimates for 4/6/8/12-week test accuracies?  Sometimes your typos confuse me on the test window periods and I'm unsure if they're typos or intentional revisions.  I think it may benefit forum readers to place them here clearly so they have a reference.

Your risk for HIV and hepatitis, given your prior test results (negative) at 8 weeks is very, very low.  See your doctor to help sort out the hives.  It is most unlikely this reflect HIV or hepatitis.  EWH

Thanks for your note.. I have a question, I am getting regular Hives and yesterday I had a hive cloe to under my eye, I am having regular hives atleast once a day mostly after i wake up from sleep.

I am getting very much scared, Is this a cause of HIV or HBV? I go the tested as earlier stated exactly at 8 weeks.  Please advise. I am also getting pain the lower abdomen and around navel area..

Kindly please advise am i still under the risk for HIV or HBV/HCV?

Thanks for your response ,

You have nothing whatsoever to be worried about.  Your exposure was brief and a condom was used.  Your 8 week results have beeen obtained at a time when 85-90% of all tests that are going to become positive would already be positive.  You do not have HIV or any other STD from the very low risk exposure that you describe.  My advice is to stop worrying and forget about your experience.  You do not have HIV or STD and do not need further testing.  EWH

dude, are you serious...your testing too much...Keep doing it and you will get a false positive one day... Stop, you didn't need so much testing..

Your 8 weeks HIV neg says that you don't have HIV.. Doctor will confirm that in a moment.
