Possibility of infection while test in Lab

Hi Lizzie...i did test today with my friend..lab technician used needle to punture at finger tip to tke out blood...first was taken for her and then me..our results cme out negative...i am fearing if this same is used for my finger..coz she is having multiple partners and not sure abut hrr status. So plzzz help me...is ther any possibility of infection like this....?

· Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusive negative results or a no-risk situation will be based up the criteria MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:

Hi...he didnt used lacet..it was small needle which he hit at tip my finger to take out blood and then took for test...how long hiv virus can live inopen air?

usually the lancet for the rapid HIV test is for single use only,it cannot be used again as it get retracted after single use.

Hi...her status is negative  this time..but due to multiple partner and i dont klnow when she had her last risky encounter. And due to window period she is negative this time..is the same needle which is very small to just blood out from  finger tip can cause infection....i just called lab technician and he says he dont use same needle for two people which is very expl.ametry..but i want to know worst case inthis as i am going to get married next month...plzzz advise...

There is NO possibility of infection from testing needle.
They are well trained personnel.
And your friend test is also negative,even if the same needle is used ,there is no risk.
