6 months Prep and Hiv positive partner... SCARED

Hello I am 23 years old and have been dating a hiv positive partner for a year now. I have been taking prep for 6 to 7 months, I have an hiv scare because I was afraid of breaking up with my partner. We have been having unprotected sex for months and I never missed a dose of prep. My results always came negative but I've been afraid of breaking up with my partner, till yesterday and have tested at 5 weeks since stopping prep and I'm negative. I was waiting for 3 months to break up with her but i couldn't take it anymore. My question is could my results change since I haven't touched my partner for more than 7 weeks. Can prep fail after taking it for this long? I'm losing sleep over the decision I made. Any advice would be appreciated

Definitely sounds like you could stand to consult someone about anxiety. You've successfully been taking Prep and having unprotected sex. Breaking up with your partner doesn't make you 'more' likely to get hiv. You just sound more anxious and we can not help with that. In terms of hiv, you had success with prep thus far and there is no reason to suspect you wouldn't in the past 7 weeks (when you weren't having sex or something). I don't know, your whole post seems anxiety driven to be honest.
