ARS Symptoms
I am a 22 year old male (heterosexual) and I could really use some support right now. I had unprotected vaginal sex for less than a minute about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I also engaged in unprotected oral sex, both ways. I also bite the inside of my mouth (a bad habit) which leads me to believe I am at a higher risk due to the oral sex I performed.
About 9 days after the exposure I got a cough and lost my appetite. This was about where my anxiety started. About a week later I found a rash under my armpits but that was probably due to me using another kind of deordorant bc it went away in like a day in a half of not using any.
I also now have back pain and it feels like my muscles are kind of tired. I think my lymph nodes were enlarged as they are now very small. The cough is lingering still. I still have a screwed up appetite and after I eat I sometimes get nausious. I feel like I have completely attached a loss of appetite to ARS and even if I am hungry and I sit down to eat and I just can't put that much away most of the time.
I usually wake up with a rash on my chest and stomach that goes away within an hour, maybe it's just from sleeping. I just noticed a reddened area on my chest tonight that doesn't seem to be going away. I still haven't experienced a fever (I don't think, would I know? Should I be able to tell if I had a profound fever?)
I am really struggling here. I could use any advice as to what everyone thinks of these symptoms, I know they aren't definitive and I plan on testing next Monday, but each day is so hard.

A lot of ppl on this forum have these symptoms and get -ve report on a DNA PCR....many have..just search the forum...since ur at 28 days....do the PCR DNA test...you will feel much better.

If you are going to do any PCR testing make sure you do the PCR RNA test, which is the only approved PCR test.
Is that your recommendation? Also, if anyone has had these symptoms and turned out negative, I would love to hear about it. I know it will have nothing to do with whether I am infected but it will at least give me some hope.
I am still freeking out a bit. I keep looking at my chest and face and seeing red spots. If I was having an ARS rash, would it be most apparent? There are several spots on my chest that are red and then the part of my chest that is right under my chin is always red (not spotty at all). I feel like I am constantly going to the mirror to check my face, and it seems red. Could I be overreacting? I don't really even understand what an ARS rash should look like, if they are different from common rashes or skin conditions.
If you want you can get a DNA PCR test...it is considered 99.98 % accurate at 28 days.

She was a girl I picked up at the bar. The only thing I know about her is that she is a junior at Loyala Maramount in Los Angeles. I believe she comes from a wealthy area up here in the Northwest. Dr. H said that she could be high due to the bar pick up but low risk for HIV bc so few college students are infected.
I know symptoms dont' mean anything, but I still can't put them in the back of my mind. I was negative, at least till this exposure. I know you can't tell, but she seemed very put together. I am going to get tested on Monday which will put me right at 28 days.
