Accident ! Need help!

Deer all, my last  experience was incredible. I visited a friend of mine the other day. He was very enthusiastic and cut a fruit with a knife. But his finger was broken by that knife. So I helped him stop bleeding with Band-Aid. Of course, some blood was left on my fingers. But I didn't wash my hands because I think it is a little thing and it doesn't matter. After five minutes, I picked my nose deeply with that finger which has some blood on it. (Because of my bad habbit , my nose has a fresh wound these days. nasal mucus contained some blood streak that day!  )  Before I left his home, he told me that he infected HIV several months ago. He is very optimistic and I believe he will survive for a long long time.....After one day, my nose flow nosebleed automatically! It happened twice!! I suddenly called up that I touched some blood of my friend and then picked my nose which has a fresh wound!!  I terribly scared!!  So how much chance of infection for me ?? Is this a way of blood to blood?? Is my nosebleed  related to it ??   Please help me.  Thx

Move along you never had an exposure and there has never been a doctor infected with a wounded nose.

I know about that. But my experience is the same as medical exposure. Some doctors infect hiv from their wounded nose. 0.3 percent...So I am upset.

So,what you said means we can't get infected by HIV through small wounds in hand?

once exposed to air, hiv becomes INACTIVE and UNABLE to infect.

you had NO risk, regardless of what you picked ! ! !

NO EXPOSURE...HIV is a weak virus and can not survive outside a host body for more than seconds unless it was under lab conditions.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child
