3 Months

I originally visited a sex worker and had unprotected oral and protected vaginal.  I somehow managed to wait for 11 weeks and 4 days before my standard lab blood HIV antibody test, which was negative.

I also had a straight handjob from a masseuse about a week ago, with oil.  no other contact.

Whats the chance I had a false negative?
did I need to wait more time?
Is a handjob a risk for ANY STD at all?

Well see, I didn't see your response before I posted, as the question came up as a question for me, so I just answered it.  Yes the forums have rules, but it's still a related topic. We can sit here and argue this forever if you wish...  If I had seen your answer perhaps I would have advised him the same...  but I didn't see it. so...

Questions can not be split up. I had advised him to post in the STD forum for his STD question. Simple as that. These forum have rules for a reason and have many different forums for a reason.

Yes, but he asked two questions, we should answer them... . Sorry if you do not agree...  But he is asking for help, I read his reply and I answered it. I am not going to argue about it....  If it is so serious than a moderator should come in and split the questions.

As you told this forum is HIV specific.

He is asking not only about HIV, he is also asking about other STD's, and there is some risk, but very trivial risk.

This is a HIV specific forum, this website has a STD forum. Limit answers to HIV in this forum only.

And the poster did cover up for vaginal sex...no HIV risk.

I think you first need to relax and in the future you need to be smarter about your choices to wear condoms.  As far as I know there is no risk of any STD from a handjob unless the girl touched herself first and then rubbed you, or had blood on her hand or something like that.  The chances are highly unlikely though.

I think the chances of a false negative are very low, but of course if you feel anxious you should get another test. And next time cover up.

STD questions post in the STD forum.

You had no risk for HIV from unprotected oral sex and no risk from protected intercourse. You never had a need to test.
