Anxiety

I am a just married male 29 yrs. went out with a few friends for drinks a strip club here in detroit michigan. My friends set me up with an african american female 22 yrs who said she is "clean" and would always use a condom and who would not just play around.

we chatted for a few mins. I was not drunk. she took me to a lap dance and then asked me for a hand job. i said ok and she proceeded and i thought she spit on my penis as i saw my penis tip moist. I told her no spit and she said she had not spit anyway and the fluid on my penis tip was my own pre cum. i was a little worried but she proceeded with hand job and i came on her hand. i did touch outer partner of her genitals (no fluids contact) and sucked nipples quite a bit.

I did have another lap dance same night previously and had sucked nipples of the lady/stripper.

based on my above exposure how much i am at a risk of getting any STD's especially HIV since i am very concerned. My friends laugh at me about my concern, but i am thinking about getting testing done soon.

1. Am i at no, low or any risk for HIV?

2. Am i at any risk for any other STD?

3.when should i get tested and for what (specifically)?

4. can i continue unprotected sex with my wife or no?

I do notice my penis is red and there is mild abrasions on the penis shaft border. might be due to shaffing?

Please help. very anxious.....

thank you doctors..

No, still no concern even if she had HIV or syphilis.  See sentence 2 of my reply above.

Thanks for your kind words.  Take care.

thanks for the response doctor. i did read the thread and it made a lot of sense. My only worry is considering she was HIV positive/syphilis and she did spit on the tip of my penis, would it be still no risk at all or should i be concerned this coming back to haunt me later in life??

I have a lot of respect for your achievements and experience in your field and would take your word for this without a doubt...

thank you

Welcome to the forum.

This was a no-risk event with respect to HIV and all other STDs.  They cannot be transmitted by hand-genital contact, and saliva never carries HIV and rarely other STDs either.  In case you are interested, I have provided the link to a recent thread that discusses the biological reasons behind this.

Those comments answer questions 1 and 2.  Question 3:  no testing of any kind is necessary.  Question 4:  you can safely continue unprotected sex with your wife, without putting her at risk of any infection.

Question 5:  I would guess your penile irritation indeed is due to chafing from the hand-gential contact.  The symptoms should clear up within a couple of days.

I hope this has helped.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD
