Don't worry. This is not a way to transmit HIV.

Dear Edge..sorry to hear that about your case.. but for sure HIV will not transmit in that way.

Also , please let the forum know about your exposure? Was it multiple sex partners without protection?

Have you done Western Blot test? Many time false positive detects...so to be more precise you shall do WB test.

Also, share your exposure expert forum will be able to help you.

Thanks

Your daughter will never catch HIV with a slap or touch..Get relaxed..

Post your case to expert forum....how much you are sure that you have HIV?? Also what was exposure? HIV is possible only if  you had conducted any unprotected penetrative sex? So you can discuss your case to the forum...

As far as your daughter is concerned you are 500% safe..

You shouldn't go around slugging your kids in the face, especially hard enough to make her bleed. That's not discipline, that's child abuse. Next time keep your anger in check and handle it like a responsible parent instead of an abusive bully. She is not at risk of HIV but unfortunately she is at risk for long lasting psychological problems because her father thinks it's acceptable to slug her in the face hard enough to draw blood. Smh.

The exposure, at this point, isn't relevant.  We suggest that the OP continue to work with his physician and any HIV counselors to understand about living with HIV, treatment, and transmission.
