Move on. You have done nothing today except give out incorrect information.
Incorrect. If a P24 is positive it is then checked with an antibody test then with a confirmative test.
If p24 antigen is detected then the test is positive and will be confirmed with a WB just like anyother positive HIV test.Didn't you mean to say p24 can't give a conclusive negative result.
P24 cannot give a conclusive positive test result.
What about p24 antigen,it is always detectable between 1 to 4 weeks.
He can test negative until his body has created enough antibodies for the test to detect.
No one knows if their symptoms are related to ARS until they are tested and have a confirmed positive result. Then their symptoms can be related to ARS.
Move along you didn't have an exposure and you don't need testing.
Thanks for your reply, Please tell me is gum clinic do p24 test, I am going again tomorrow for test after 6 weeks, which test I should do , I am too much worried, really appreciate you reply.
Move on and that is not what the GUM clinic says.

Post testing

The need for a repeat HIV test if still within the window period after a specific exposure should be discussed. Although fourth generation tests shorten the time from exposure to seroconversion a repeat test at three months is still recommended to definitively exclude HIV infection.
And I did my HIV test from GUM clinic NHS Uk, and they toled me that is4 generation HIV latest test and it was negative after 28 day.
You never had an exposure and you were advised of it in another thread.
Thanks for your reply, I got ARS after 12 day but my test of 4 generation HIV after 28 days is negative, what it ? Is it mean I am safe, Plz reply me, thx
ARS happens at 2-4 weeks. If one has symptoms then about 1 week after symptoms a test should be positive.
What was your risk?
