There isn't anything else to say about this no-risk event. The science regarding HIV transmission is well established, and condoms provide 100% protection as long as they are used properly and remain intact.
******** THREAD CLOSED ********
Hi I am listening to the advice and I have read a lot about HIV transmission..And what I would say is that condoms are highly effective against the spread of HIV, the proof is overwhelming , however nobody can say they are 100% effective in real world situations...don't care how much of an expert they are....so basically speaking you would say nobody in the history of HIV has transmitted the virus while wearing a condom that did not break...sorry guys but that is impossible to know for sure
Thanks but still not 100% convinced..you see the problem is people read this and think hey as long as you put a condom on you can partake in high risk sex and get away with it...it breeds complacency and basically I am guilty of it...now I find myself in this highly stressful situation...I guess only when I test we will know the score...
Condom was fine but is it really that black and white..condom no risk 100% ...just seems too much of a coincidence to have these symptoms after having sex with a high risk individual...it is like going into a high risk malaria area and then presenting with symptoms later on...malaria would then have to be considered...when I go home in 2 weeks I will go to clinic and tell them my story...are they going to say you had no risk so go home or are they going to test me? It i;s going to be the latter yes?
If condom didn't break you didn't have any risk at all.
