Am I paranoid?

So I was running in the park, and saw a piece of trash. I take pride in cleaning it up, so I picked it up. It was a used tampon. I held it for 5 seconds, before throwing it away. After that, I wiped my hand on the grass, and on the dirt, then ran to the nearest bathroom, which took 30 minutes to reach. Then, I washed my hands for 3 minutes, then went to my car and soaked them in hand sanitizer. So, am I being paranoid, or what are my odds of HIV??

NO risk at all.  You cannot get HIV from inanimate objects, even if they contain blood or bodily fluids.

once exposed to air, hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.

you had NO risk...even if you had cuts on your hand...you would not have been at risk.
