Another Kissing question...

I know this is like the 10000th question regarding kissing so apologies for that - sometimes you need a direct re-assurance.
Yesterday I frenched kissed a girl for quite some time and at some point i tasted a bit of blood. I stopped for a while, and then we continued. I asked her if her lips bled or something, she was negative, so most probably it was my blood, since later on back home I noticed a small amount of bleeding from the gums of the front teeth (my gums bleed sometimes, especially during brushing). I asked the girl about her status, she says she did an operation 4 months ago so she did all blood testing, but she also went and did today an HIV DUO test (since she understood that I "freaked out"), just to prove me she is OK...
Anyway, I would just like your re-assurance regarding HIV risk and I would like to ask in general (e.g. TEAK or any other of you people) what would YOU DO in such cases, for instance if you taste blood during kissing or if you have a recent cut or gum problem or mouth ulcer...would you kiss someone with absolutely NO FEAR? Thanks for the comments.

No I would not have a fear to kiss anyone positive or not for the fear of contracting HIV.
